Description

A system and method for processing fungi (mushrooms, mycelium, mold) DNA in the field, for positive identification and sampling of species.

Target Audience

Scientists/researchers, medicine makers, foragers, recreational forest dwellers, and shamans. Yes I said shamans :)

How do people solve this problem now?

Books, guides, experts, experience, facebook groups :/ There are some excellent books, guides, and even fb groups (example: 'False Morels Demystified' and this Poison Help hotline-style group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/144798092849300/). But alas, someday we will have offline-ready, hand-held positive matching on the spot... and the sooner that day comes, the better!
